Bellow is the rough cut of our film opening which we created on Final Cut Pro
We still need to add on and take out some scenes as well as correcting the diegetic sound.

In the opening title sequence there are clear stereotypes. When the two main characters are getting dressed the female character takes out her clothes neatly while the male character throws them over his shoulder. To anchor the stereotype the male character could take the clothes from the floor and smell them to signify the stereotypes that men don't care what they look like.

By not having the characters meet it creates a narrative enigma as the audience don't know what the significant of these who characters are. Another stereotypes used is that the central protagonist is a nerd, this is shown by here big glasses and the fact that she is sitting alone. Both a stereotype and a male gaze is used when most the girls are seen wearing skirts.

The stereotypes continue as you see the "mean girls" are in a group of three and has control over the boys in the school. Which could also be intersexuality to other chick flicks such as "Mean Girls".
