(Holding onto locker)

(Said in a questioning voice)

(Starts to put some makeup on)
“Just making sure”

VERONICA
(Glaring at the Geeky girl)
“Oh look who’s staring at us”
(Said in a mocking tone)
LOGAN
(Turns around to look to the geeky girl)
“Oh isn’t that Heather? Heard she was nice”
VERONICA
(Glares angrily at Logan)
“WHAT? You know her name?”
LOGAN
(Looking at Veronica in confusion)
“Yeah I heard to won some science competition”
VERONICA
(Dismisses Logan’s answer and starts closing locker)
“Whatever…”

(Students entering class, some random chatter)
TEACHER
(Teacher tone)
“Come on everyone, get you’re books out”
MEAN GIRL 2
(Said in a mean tone almost a whisper)
“Four eyes is in the class with us AGAIN”

(Said in a mean tone)
“She’s in EVERY class that we have!”
VERONICA
(Said in a sly tone)
“Apparently she’s such a GEEK!”
ALL MEAN GIRLS
(Giggling)
TEACHER
(Walking up and down the front of the class)
“Today we are going to work in groups or pairs so everyone will be assigned a partner or partners”
WHOLE CLASS
(Groans and protests)
LOGAN
(Directed at Veronica)
“Wonder who you’ll be put with”
VERONICA
(Looking annoyed)
“It better not be ‘Heather’”
(Said in a mocking tone)
TEACHER
(Looking around class and assigning students with others)
“Logan can you work with Heather please”
LOGAN
(Looking over at Heather, gets up from chair and sits down beside her)
“Hey”
HEATHER
(Looking shy and nervous)
“Hi, Are you sure you want to work with me and not with Veronica?”
LOGAN
(Starts getting out books)
“Yeah I’m fine”
CUTS
BELL RINGS – LESSON OVER
TEACHER
(Handing out work sheets)
“This worksheet is due Monday, no excuses”
WHOLE CLASS
(Everyone gets up and some start to leave taking a worksheet while they leave the classroom)
VERONICA
(Giving a mean look to Heather)
“Come on Logan, we have to get lunch”
LOGAN
(Grabbing school bag and staying by Heather)
“To be honest…I’m going to hang out with Heather”
