Sound:
Drums – making that sound of the waves to make the effect as if they are under water. (Diegetic)
As the camera gets out of water the splashing waves sound appears. AS well as orchestra starts playing. (Non- diegetic)
The music goes in rhythm with the characters shouting. The main character (24601, Jean Valjean) starts the singing “Look down, Look down, don’t look him in the eye.” After the other artists join in and sing “Look down…” (Both)
The orchestra gets quite while Javert tells prisoner 24601 to “retreat the flag”. However, the music is still involved. (Both)
As Prisoner 24601 Picks up the flag the music gets powerful and strong showing the characteristic of that character. While he picks it up you could also hear the chains clucking. (Both)
When Jean Valjean picks up the flag you could hear the mast rubbing into the dirty floor as well as the sound of water which is made when flag was sliding though it. (Diegetic) As he drops the mast the bang is heard. (Diegetic)
Javer calls out the number of prisoner as the music plays along. Prisoner 24601 replies to Jever, that he is free. And Jever denies and says that he will never be free. (Diegetic)

Quite recent, so useful for exam. This left incomplete? Zero imagery. ts an interesting e.g. of signifying the protagonist. You can benefit from noting aspects that you CAN’T, AS AN INDIE, USE!!! [institutional knowledge/research] The SFX, settings, huge number of extras, stars…
